Available for an immediate hire, Robert Half is searching for a skilled, eager, and strong candidate to fill the role of an Accounting Manager for a well established Consumer Distributor SMB (Small Medium Business). In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations. Responsibilities

- Drive and manage the the accounting department in the close process to meet close deadlines

- Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

- Part of the management team consisting of operations, purchasing and general management.

- Manage daily cash flow - reporting, banking, cash management and cash reconciliation.

- Collaborate with Senior Management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

- Work with outside auditor on GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

- Play key role in implementation of new ERP System including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

- Financial Analysis - advise management on financial impact as a result of business decisions and product margins.

- CPA designated or actively pursuing

- 4 plus years of SMB (Small Medium Business) experience is required with a strong comfort in full cycle accounting

- Prior experience working in an inventory focused business is highly desired.

- Prior experience implementing a new ERP system is highly desired.

- Prior experience coordinating with outside Accounting Firm.

- Prior experience successfully managing collections

- Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

- Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
