Our client is the ideal set up for an arbitrator looking for a temporary home, or virtual support. The CFO is currently looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to act as her right hand with the day-to-day management and accounting operations.

The role of the Senior Accounting Manager is to assist the Director in the day-to-day coordination of cash flow and assisting in the mentorship of the operational accounting team. As the Senior Accounting Manager, you will help support the accounting processes by overseeing the AP and AR functions and ensure accuracy to the GL and journal entries. As the manager, you will build and foster a high performing accounting team, that prides themselves on collaboration and ongoing development. You will be expected to prepare timely financial reports and statements on a monthly / quarterly and annual basis, while providing support analysis for budgets and variances. Working with your team and senior leadership, you will help monitor expenses and ensure budgets are well aligned with corporate financial goals. This opportunity will require you to keep a pulse on cash flow and liquidity and make recommendations while helping build strong financial best practices and policies to help guide the team.

The Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years working their way through progressive financial roles. While a CPA designation would be an asset, it is not necessary and comparable financial education and experience will be considered. We are looking or someone who knows how to lead and manage a team. You can step into an organization, and provide instant value to the CFO. Your thorough understanding of billings, cash flow, financial reporting, and everything needed to close out the month will fall on your plate. Exceptional proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise or Sage and advanced Excel knowledge will be expected as the office is highly tech savvy. Throughout the interview process, you will be able to demonstrate your critical thinking skills, problem solving, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. You can speak to how you lead and motivate those around you and how you have inspired your team to reach new heights. The Senior Accounting Manager is someone who loves a fast paces and is accustomed to high volume work. Industry experience within a professional services environment would be highly desirable, and you ability to work well independently while taking accounting for yourself and your team\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2 s deadlines will be expected. Strong communication and utmost professionalism require due to the clientele our client represents. Must be willing to go on site 3-4 days / week.
