Revolution Business Services is a Canadian based group of companies operating out of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The Group oversees the full cycle accounting needs of related entities in the real estate, healthcare, advertising and information technology sectors and is a division of a larger group of companies with ample opportunities for advancement.The Group is looking for a full cycle accountant to oversee the day-to-day accounting, finance and reporting needs of the group. We value diverse backgrounds and what that brings to our team and we want to hear more about what makes you unique.In addition to what makes you unique, there are a few basics that we require for this role:Requirements:\xc2\xb7 Professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent experience\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3 years in a similar role or with a public accounting firm\xc2\xb7 Understanding of cost centers used for management reporting\xc2\xb7 An interest in process improvements, automations and implementing other efficiencies\xc2\xb7 High degree of accuracy and attention to detail\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook)\xc2\xb7 Ability to work both independently and as a team to meet month-end reporting deadlines\xc2\xb7 Goal oriented individual that works towards project completionConsidered an asset:\xc2\xb7 Experience with Sage 300 or another similar ERP software\xc2\xb7 Experience preparing year-end files at a public accounting firm\xc2\xb7 Experience in the real estate or senior living industriesYour Role\xc2\xb7 Manage full cycle accounting for a variety of entities\xc2\xb7 Manage an accounting and finance team\xc2\xb7 Ensure month end closes are completed on a timely basis\xc2\xb7 Review monthly, quarterly, and year end financial reporting packages prepared by accounting staff for submission to senior management and ownership\xc2\xb7 Review submission of all statutory income tax and HST filings\xc2\xb7 Cashflow monitoring\xc2\xb7 Lead ad-hoc projects required to enhance our operational and reporting efficienciesThe successful candidate will work closely with the group controller and the rest of the finance team.Sound Interesting?
