Recruitment Partners is on the search for an Accounting Manager to join our client's team. This client is in the technology space, specializing in learning software. The Accounting Manager will take ownership and lead the organization's accounting operations. This Manager will be well versed in all technical aspects of accounting and financial systems, and is a professional accountant who loves mentoring and driving high level of performance and engagement in their team. This position has three direct reports and can be 100% remote if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and coaching Operational Accounting team, which includes accounts payable, employee expenses and credit cards. We require a meaningful understanding of bill payments and taxes across various jurisdictions.
• Scaling our operational accounting efforts with increasing global and volume complexities.
• Identify, design, and propose ways to make the accounting processes more efficient, including development and documentation of processes (including development and design of internal LMS training for SAP Concur and Netsuite).
• Ensuring accurate monthly close process over accounts payable and accounting
• Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments and payroll disbursements
• Oversee the cash management process.
• Oversee company vendor master data process, including procedural design, validation of data, and approving vendor master data changes.
• Partner with technical experts from the Corporate Applications team to administer and manage financial systems (SAP Concur and NetSuite), including implementation of best practices, efficiencies, chart of accounts maintenance, upgrade implementation.
• Working closely with our financial reporting and FP&A teams

Qualifications and Skills:

• A professional accounting designation (CPA)
• 7-10 years experience in managing dynamic teams, billing and operational accounting experience considered an asset
• Excellent and proven Excel skills
• Experience working in a multicurrency environment with multiple subsidiaries
• Metric driven attitude and a drive for empowering team success
