Supervise the preparation of financial statements for business clients, review Staff Accountants\' work, and complete complex file sections.
Ensure high-quality control by overseeing Compilation and Review Engagements.
Review corporate, personal, and trust income tax returns and other tax forms.
Identify and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports.
Make recommendations based on the analysis of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
Conduct technical research and develop tax planning strategies for individuals and corporations.
Assist with corporate reorganizations.
Organize and prioritize the work of Staff Accountants, managing engagement costs and billings.
Mentor and support the professional growth of Staff Accountants.
Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and relationships grow.
Contribute new ideas to improve work processes.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
CA or CPA designation, with a minimum of 5 years public practice experience dealing with the accounting and taxation needs of private companies and their shareholders
Comprehensive experience in compilation and review preparation
Experience leading and supervising staff
Extensive knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise (ASPE)
