Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Accounting Clerk
to join our Accounting Department at the Richmond branch. This position supports daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Process and record
vendor invoices, staff expenses, and supplier payments
Issue customer invoices and statements; follow up on overdue accounts
Reconcile
bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer ledgers
Prepare journal entries and assist with
month-end closing activities
Coordinate with the operations and billing teams for cost and revenue matching
Maintain accurate accounting files and support audits as needed
Qualifications
1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (logistics or service industry preferred)
Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
and accounting software (
QuickBooks
or similar)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
