Are you looking to work at a well-respected organization as an Accounting Clerk? Robert Half has an employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk at a department. This position is with a company in the Interior Design industry. The Accounting Clerk position will require matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Receivable (A/R). Key responsibilities

- Harmonize discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

- Assist Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing

- Overall accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

- Work with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

- 2+ years of relevant experience

- Bookkeeping experience desired

- Deep understanding of QuickBooks

- Microsoft Excel experience required

- Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system

- Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

- Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
