Accounting Clerk

Job Description












At the Head Office Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: RESPONSABILITIES

  • Participate in payment processes
  • Check invoices
  • Process and follow up on cheques
  • Make bank deposits as required by the department
  • Enter transactions into accounting system
  • Verify and correct accuracy of account transactions
  • Receive payments
  • Collect and follow up accounts
  • Prepare and write various reports
  • Perform all other related tasks associated with the position
PROFILE REQUIRED
  • Hold a professional (DEP), A.E.C., D.E.C., or other relevant training completed
  • Minimum three (3) years\' experience in a similar position
  • Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, intermediate level of Excel required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, analytical skills and willingness to learn.
  • Autonomy and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and methodical

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Job Type: Temporary (6 months), part-time (3 days/21 hours)
  • Schedule: Day to be determined
  • Salary: to be discussed according to experience
  • Benefits: parking
