Accounting Clerk (short Term)

Term: 6 - 9 weeks (temporary)
Are you a highly organized individual with an interest in accounting and television production? We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to help on an upcoming MOW (Movie of the Week). Reporting to the Production Accountant, this is a short-term role and is based out of a Production office in New Westminster.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Perform full cycle of Accounts Payable functions; review and process vendor invoices with appropriate approvals, project coding, etc.
- Payroll administration paperwork
- Data entry and coding
- Provide general administrative support for the show's Accounting team
- Previous experience in film production accounting a huge asset
- Post-Secondary Education in Accounting
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft office products
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner and able to pick up new systems quickly
- Must have a laptop
- Must be currently legally entitled to working in Canada
