Are you looking to contribute your skills at a well-respected organization as an Accounting Clerk? Robert Half is looking for a candidate to support a department as an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk obligations will consist of matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). How you will make an impact

- Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

- Produce statements and reports that require utilization of a wide range of sources

- Post financial figures to journals and ledgers

- General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

- Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

- Mend discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

- Aid Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
- 1+ years of relevant experience

- Journal entries experience

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred

- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Proficiency in account reconciliation

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

- Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system

- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
