Accounting Clerk

Job Description
Our client, a commercial vehicle and equipment leasing and financing company is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience, a post-secondary education in accounting and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.
This is temporary position - minimum one month, might go on longer based on business needs.
Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: Oakville, On
Pay Range: $21 - $23/hr (based on experience)
Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
Whats the Job?
- Set up and make changes to lease billings and pre-authorized payments
- Accurately record daily cash receipts
- Accurately calculate, communicate and process early lease buyouts and lease-ends
- Accurately process reports, analyses and reconciliations
- Assist with other projects as assigned
- A post-secondary education in accounting is required
- A minimum of 1+ years experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) is essential
- Understanding of present value concepts and lease accounting
