Located in Nisku, Alberta, ADESA Edmonton is one of ADESA Canada\'s 14 wholesale vehicle auctions that are located across Canada, and the employer of choice in the Canadian automotive remarketing industry.

ADESA Edmonton is looking for a full time Accounting Clerk. You\'re the ideal candidate if you have 2-3 years of recent general accounting experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and are computer proficient. You should possess a high level of integrity and have the ability to multi-task while staying organized and professional. Responsibilities

Performs accounting functions including - selecting, compiling, verifying and analyzing financial and credit date

Monitors and follows-up on collection and payment of accounts

Prepares, processes and codes invoices, receipts, payments and deposits

Generates standard financial reports, summaries and bank reconciliations

Serves customers by responding to and directing telephone and in-person inquiries as appropriate

Assists in Sale Day activities as needed or assigned

Other duties as assigned

Educational/Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent in education and experience. Post-secondary continuing education in related field is an asset

2-3 years general accounting experience required

Proficient in Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent data entry skills (quick & accurate)

Good time management and organizational skills

Must be detail-oriented and have proven ability to multi-task

PeopleSoft and AMS experience an asset

Strong customer focus. Efficiently answering customers\xe2\x80\x99 queries and solving concerns.

Criminal background check performed and cleared by ADESA Edmonton is mandatory
