Job Description

Our client, a non-profit organization in Calgary, is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk for a contract role supporting key financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Manage accounts receivable, including rent collection and intercompany transfers
  • Complete monthly intercompany transfers and trust account allocations
  • Handle bank transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support month-end processes and resolve discrepancies
  • Utilize Sage 300 to manage and streamline accounting activities
Requirements:
Requirements:
  • Experience with accounts payable and receivable
  • Proficiency in Sage 300
  • Strong attention to detail; able to manage high-volume invoices
  • Organized, with experience handling intercompany and bank transactions
  • Knowledge of trust accounts and compliance (asset)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Non-profit experience considered an asset
