THE ROLE Reporting to the Finance Manager, based out of Altrad Services\xe2\x80\x99 Canadian corporate office in Calgary, Alberta, the Accounts Payable Administrator will be responsible for the delivery of processing: accounts payable invoices, PO and Non-PO invoices, vendor reconciliation, cheque runs and EFTs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Invoice data entry
  • Receive invoices and other accounts payable documentation, check and confirm liability for payment
  • Summarize payments and arrange payment using EFT, online banking or cheques
  • Follow up on variances with internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Answering phone/email enquiries from supplier/procurement/internal customers
  • Supplier account reconciliations
  • Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date
  • Other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Ability to work within deadlines and effectively manage time:
  • Experience with Pronto or similar ERP system
  • Diploma or degree in finance or accounting related field is considered an asset
  • High level of accuracy with alpha numeric data entry
  • Initiative and the ability to work effectively both independently and with a team environment
  • Effective customer service and communication skills.
  • At least 1-3 years in similar role
  • Experience in the construction/industrial service industry
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
  • Must be possess strong communication skills.
