Job Summary Watson Enterprises Inc. is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, which is mainly engaged in the wholesales of Asian food. After nearly 20 years of development, it has become one of the major suppliers of Asian foods in Canada. We are currently looking for an organized, data-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our financial team. This position will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities
  • Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, inventory reports, account statements and other financial statements using computerized and manual systems
  • Code, total, batch, enter, verify and reconcile transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, purchase orders, cheques, invoices, cheque requisitions, and bank statements in a ledger or computer system
  • Compile budget data and documents based on estimated revenues and expenses and previous budgets
  • Prepare period or cost statements or reports
  • Calculate costs of materials, overhead and other expenses based on estimates, quotations, and price lists
  • Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems
  • Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years accounting/bookkeeper experience.
  • MUST have experience in SAGE 50 (Simply Accounting) software, or / and the QuickBooks online.
  • Good general organization; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to use web-based payment methods and forms for submission of payments.
  • Good communication skills & proficiency in verbal/written English
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese is required.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year Benefits:
