Ortho Active is seeking an individual to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an administrative and accounting role, which will provide ideal experience in a healthcare environment with a sports medicine, bracing, orthotics & prosthetics distributor. This is an office-based role in Coquitlam, British Columbia. The ideal candidate may be a recent graduate from business or accounting seeking a contract role for an opportunity for learning, coaching, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
As an Accounting and Admin Representative, you will be talking directly with customers and working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to:
Accounts receivable (billing, collections, etc.)
Process sales invoices
Office administration support
Provide secondary customer experience support via phone, email, and online
Working closely with Accounts Payable and Customer Experience teams
Ad hoc warehouse support
Qualifications
Mandatory: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting (or equivalent)
Mandatory: Fluency in English, comfortable in business language writing and communication, as well as customer phone support
Preferred: Fluency in French (written and spoken)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with ERP systems for business operations
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to team goals.
Previous office or administrative experience is preferred
