About the Opportunity

• Engages in all aspects of month-end and year-end closing processes including preparing general ledger journal entries, account analysis and bank transactions
• Supports external audits including preparation of working papers and gathering of samples
• Assists in compilation of working papers for tax compliance including statutory direct and indirect tax filings and audits
• Monitors and records bank transactions in all bank accounts
• Supports the development and implementation of new processes and internal control policies, adheres to all policies and processes
• Supports the management of relationships with external parties such as banks & auditors
• Effectively utilizes technology to improve efficiency of the Accounting teams processes and heightened awareness of cybersecurity
• Document and update standard operating procedures, policies and training materials as required
• Provides high standard of customer service to all stakeholders

About You

• Accounting Designation
• 3-5 years in a similar role
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls
• Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Demonstrates maturity and sensitivity when working within various cultures
• Results-driven and able to set and achieve clear objectives and deadlines
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of constituencies, as well as work effectively in a collegial manner in a team-based environment
• Ability to share information across the organization with non-finance colleagues
• Possess professional maturity, sensitivity with different cultures, and impeccable integrity that exemplify the Foundations values
