Salary
: $46-50,000 to start DOE
We are looking for individual with a love of accounting admin functions as well as an interest in working at a beautiful location with a great team! This full-time role is an in-office position based at of our Head Office in Dundas, Ontario, and involves a variety of A/R duties while working directly with the Client Services Team.
Role & Responsibilities
Create customer invoices and estimates as needed, distribute, record customer payments and monitor outstanding balance
Manage customer credit terms by processing applications quickly, conducting reference checks, updating Client Services system
Complete account setup processes for vendors and customers
Maintain complete records re: client contracts, ensuring accuracy, proper invoicing and filing as per approved amounts/schedules
Anticipate roadblocks and work to mitigate their impact; ultimately assisting where required in expediting resolutions and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation
Retrieve, process and distribute Canada Post mail
Provide support to Accountant with other accounting admin duties as needed
Assist in the backup performance of other Client Services or Operations roles, as needed
Experience & Qualifications
A certificate or diploma in accounting preferred, or related courses completed
2+ years of experience in an accounting admin position, preferably in the various needs of A/R
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, software-based environment
Working knowledge of and experience using Google Drive, Gmail and Sheets
Strong proficiency in Quickbooks Online, in Microsoft Office (Excel), and aptitude to learn other software tools
Experience with Zendesk is considered an asset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a positive workspace
Excellent organization and communication skills
Ability to receive both verbal and written instruction
A strong sense of personal integrity
