Auto list of Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting operations and maintain up-to-date financial records
Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Handle all general ledger, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations
Prepare and organize financial data for auditors and assist with annual financial statements
Manage all CRA-related filings, including GST/HST, payroll, and corporate tax compliance
Support management with financial analysis and budgeting reports
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting preferred)
Strong knowledge of CRA requirements and Canadian accounting standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills
