Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliation, and supporting ALL accounting functions. This role requires the accountant to perform ALL accounting related functions, AR's, AP's, payroll, cash-flow management, reimbursements, petty-cash, invoicing, P&L reports, billing reports, financial analysis etc.

Candidates MUST be experienced with using QuickBook Online software.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software (

QuickBooks Online

) Perform bookkeeping duties, including data entry and maintaining accurate financial records Conduct account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure consistency across financial statements Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and account analysis to support business decision-making Prepare financial reports and assist with auditing processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards Support payroll processing and related activities (overtime payments, vacation pay, Compliance with Labour laws, remissions, source deductions etc.) Utilize accounting software (

QuickBooks Online

) for transaction processing, report generation, and data management Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting

Requirements

Proven experience with accounting software (

QuickBooks Online

) Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation processes Familiarity with corporate finance principles including budgeting, auditing, and financial services Experience with payroll processing and Labour legislation. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Relevant degree or certification in Accounting or Finance.
