Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making processes. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records through bookkeeping and account reconciliation. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets. Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. Assist in corporate finance activities, including budgeting and forecasting. Perform auditing tasks to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations. Manage payroll processing and related documentation. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft for various accounting functions. Provide account analysis to identify trends and variances in financial performance. Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bookkeeping practices. Familiarity with corporate finance principles and financial services industry standards. Excellent analytical skills for account analysis and budgeting tasks. Experience in auditing processes and compliance checks. Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in financial reporting. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and other departments.
