Job Title: Accountant (Full-Time / Part-Time) - Cross-Border Platform Startup | CN / CA / HK / SG Experience Preferred

SuoGogo is a fast-growing cross-border logistics platform startup focused on serving overseas Chinese users. Our services include price comparison, parcel consolidation, and one-click purchasing across international regions.

Our business spans

Canada (headquarters), Hong Kong or Singapore (settlement center, TBD), and Mainland China (operations)

. We are currently preparing for our MVP launch and fundraising, and we are looking for a committed

full-time or part-time accountant

to help build a robust multi-region accounting and compliance structure.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain accounting systems across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions Manage day-to-day platform transactions: customer payments, service provider settlements, commissions, and promotional subsidies Reconcile multi-currency flows using tools like Stripe, Wise, and Airwallex Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements) Support due diligence and financial forecasting during fundraising Handle bookkeeping using cloud-based tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books

Requirements:

Solid experience with accounting and tax systems in

Canada, Mainland China, and Hong Kong or Singapore (at least two regions)

Prior experience in platform-based businesses, SaaS, or cross-border e-commerce Strong understanding of multi-currency reconciliation and intercompany structures Comfortable working with English-language financial reports and tools Proficient in cloud accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) Accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred

Nice to Have:

Experience in early-stage startups or fundraising environments Familiarity with accounting processes for Stripe, Wise, or Airwallex Understanding of transfer pricing and intercompany agreements Knowledge of platform business logic such as commissions and deferred revenue
