Primary responsibilities will include:

Financial statement preparation for compilations, review engagements and audits Preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns Examine accounting records and transactions Communicating with clients, CRA, etc. Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal controls Prepare reports and audit findings Other accounting functions such as bookkeeping and payroll services
Qualifications:

B.Comm One to two years of experience in public practice is an asset
Skills, knowledge & work experience:

Passion for accounting Attention to detail Problem solving skills Decision making Strong project and time management abilities Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and in a group Experience in CaseWare and Profile is considered an asset Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
