Happy Caring Place is seeking a detailed oriented accountant that has experience in filing taxes, payroll, book keeping, and other day to day financial records.

This will be a part-time role that will grow into full-time and permanent as the demands increase from our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



Ability to file taxes both personal, business and corporate tax using various accounting software. Assist in preparing monthly, annual and financial reports. Monitoring and running business weekly and monthly payroll. Help in daily financial book keeping and data entry of the company. Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and best practices for small businesses. Ability to prepare and manage T4's ROE's, WSIB, pension and RRSP contributions in compliance with CRA and employment standards.

Qualifications:



Diploma or degree in Accounting, finance or related field. Payroll compliance professional (PCP) designation preferred. Skill and experience in Microsoft excel and other MS office application Strong communication and initiative skills Excellent attention to details, analytical thinking and organization skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
