We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced

Accountant to join us on-site at our location in Puslinch, ON. The successful candidate will report to the Vice President.

This role is 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Please note our facility is not accessible by bus.

Primary Responsibilities:

Reconcile balance sheet accounts to General Ledger to assess the reasonability of accruals, reviewing with Management team and making adjustments are required Manage monthly transactions and monthly reconciliations Manage accounting for fixed assets Perform full cycle bookkeeping processes (A/P, A/R, bank/credit card reconciliations) Review HST returns, WSIB, payroll liabilities, ROE, and other regulatory filings Prepare, file and calculate monthly HST & QST sales tax returns May maintain accounting procedures associated with cost accounting Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce report for Management Maintain accurate records and confidentiality or organizational information Complete special projects, ad-hoc requests, and various other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work-related experience Minimum 2 years' experience in general accounting. Experience in operations with a well-rounded knowledge of cost accounting considered a strong asset Motivated, detail oriented and organized, with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize Candidates should possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Strong verbal and written communicator Possess a positive attitude and work well in a team environment
