Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in the commercial refrigeration industry. The ideal candidate will manage full-cycle accounting, ensure compliance with financial standards, and provide valuable insights to support day-to-day operations and business decisions. This role requires strong Excel skills, solid accounting knowledge, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports Conduct account analysis and reconciliation Manage payroll processing and remittances Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow Assist in budgeting, job costing, and forecasting Support internal audits and year-end preparation Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including timely invoicing and collections Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and profitability Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in refrigeration, HVAC, or construction Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a must Experience with Service Titan and QuickBooks is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently Familiarity with budgeting, account reconciliation, and financial auditing
