The Role:

As a Junior Accountant at Elite Travel Management, you play a vital role in the success and growth of the company. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records and providing an unbeatable response to clients to ensure a seamless and reliable experience for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:





Customer service! We are a customer service driven organization who believes in a WOW experience for all clients - that means even in Finance! The ability to pick up the phone, respond to clients with empathy, and resolve any client questions with our immediate response policy is key. In addition to that:



High attention to detail and 100% accuracy in all statements Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices, payments, and receipts. Ensure all journal entries are prepared and posted in a timely matter. Manage Elite Travel's virtual payments program. Create and deliver weekly and monthly client reports. Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements and reports. Review and reconcile employee expense reports. Prepare timely payroll calculations and reports. Respond to accounting and reporting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Provide additional support and complete ad hoc tasks and initiatives as required.



Key Qualifications:




Exceptional customer service Exceptional customer service (yes, we said that twice on purpose!) Post-secondary education in accounting or related field is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is considered an asset. 5+ years' experience in accounting or finance is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups and Pivot Tables. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment. Ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced, start-up environment. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is considered an asset.
