TYM Business Consulting is a CPA-led accounting and advisory firm supporting small and mid-sized businesses across Canada and the U.S. We help organizations stay organized, compliant, and financially strong through proactive bookkeeping, reporting, and CFO services.

We are hiring a

hands-on Accountant / Bookkeeper

to work

on-site

in our Concord office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, continuous learning, and directly supporting business owners with accurate financial insights.

What You'll Do



Daily & Monthly Accounting



Full-cycle bookkeeping: AP, AR, payroll, and GL entries Daily bank postings/imports and bank reconciliation support Maintain complete, organized, audit-ready supporting documentation

Financial Reporting & Compliance



Month-end close: reconciliations (bank, AR/AP, accruals, intercompany) Prepare ASPE-compliant financial statements CRA compliance: HST filings, payroll remittances, WSIB, T4/T5, etc. Support external auditors/review engagements

Systems & Process Improvements



Improve approval workflows and internal controls Assist with client onboarding into QuickBooks Online and integrated apps Help optimize accounting operations for speed and accuracy

Cash Flow & Analysis



Maintain cash-flow forecasts Assist with budgeting and monthly management reporting Support ad-hoc analysis to guide business decisions
? Qualifications

Required



Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2-5 years

of full-cycle accounting experience (preferably multi-client) Strong QuickBooks Online skills Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation models) Knowledge of ASPE, HST rules, and Canadian payroll

Assets (not required)



Russian and/or Hebrew language skills

Access to a reliable vehicle for occasional client visits

Experience in a CPA firm or outsourced accounting environment Management reporting and cash-flow experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
