This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with monthly closings, and supporting accounts payable/receivable functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to grow in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update general ledger and financial records
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare journal entries and assist with balance sheet reconciliations
Support expense reporting
Generate basic financial reports as needed
Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
Collaborate with external accountants during audits or tax filings
Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dayforce, or similar)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
