We're looking for an

Accountant / Bookkeeper

to join our team

on-site at our Toronto-area office in Concord (near the intersection of Highway 7 and Jane Street)

. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work, improving processes, and supporting business owners with clear, accurate financial insights. You'll be part of a growing firm that values precision, teamwork, and professional growth.

What You'll Be Doing



Day-to-Day Accounting Operations



Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries Perform daily cash postings and transaction imports; assist with bank reconciliations Maintain accurate, organized financial records and supporting documentation

Financial Reporting & Compliance



Execute month-end close: balance-sheet reconciliations (bank, AR, AP, accruals, intercompany) and adjusting entries Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (ASPE) Manage CRA compliance, including HST filings, payroll remittances, and annual slips (T4, T5, etc.) Liaise with auditors as required

Internal Controls & Systems



Improve accounting workflows, documentation, and approval processes Support integration and optimization of accounting systems for accuracy and efficiency

Cash Flow & Analysis



Prepare and maintain cash-flow forecasts Deliver monthly management reports and variance analyses Support budgeting and forecasting

What We're Looking For



Education:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience:

2-5 years of full-cycle accounting experience

Software:

Proficient in

QuickBooks Online

and

Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)

Knowledge:

Solid understanding of ASPE, HST, and payroll regulations

Skills:

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
