YOUR ROLE

The Account Manager is the main contact for a customers and is responsible for the overall sales strategy for a particular set of clients on Market Place. This includes collection building, in-season management, and account coordination. They are accountable for the financial success of their portion of the business and for ensuring that the collection is presented to the customer and the retail team, bought, and delivered as per the customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements. They must coordinate with various functions including Marketing, Product Development, Retail Buying and Supply Chain to achieve their wholesale targets. They must be knowledgeable of in-season performance and coordinate with the customer on repeats and maximise the sales . The Account Manager reports to the Director, Planning and Inventory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure Account success is achieved through a strong partnership, regular communication and delivery of quality customer service.
  • Responsible for achieving Market Place revenues for assigned product categories & House Brands.
  • Accountable for in-season management of product sales and inventory in order to drive revenues and satisfy customers.
  • Maintain the integrity of our Brands and be an ambassador for the Aldo Group.
  • Manage working relationships with all internal support departments (marketing, retail buying and visual merchandising, logistics, Allocation) through regular business reviews, team meetings and weekly/monthly conference calls with Account.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to guide development of Special Make-up footwear lines based on client needs and feedback.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of all buying tools: Recap, performance reports, account-specific required documentation.
DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE\'RE LOOKING FOR?

University level education preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (footwear an asset)
  • A well-rounded individual with exposure to buying, distribution, planning, supply chain and marketing.
  • Knowledgeable of product, trends, fashion and retail buying cycle
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Works well in a team setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
