Account Manager, eCommerce

Purpose of Job:

The Account Manager, eCommerce, is responsible for the day-to-day management of ecommerce and paid search initiatives for a leading CPG beauty client. This includes developing strategy and managing the execution of performance campaigns in-platform, based on the client\'s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-platform execution of eCommerce Plans and Sponsored Search campaigns for Fortune 1000 clients
  • Define and manage eCommerce plans & Search campaigns for retailer platforms - Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Instacart and others
  • Monitor, track, evaluate and optimize campaign performance to maximize return on client investment (ROI) and drive sales growth
  • Create, present, and gain client approval on campaign strategies and tactics while reporting regularly on KPIs and budget utilization
  • Extract campaign performance reports and analyze results; derive insights and make actionable recommendations to improve performance.
  • Oversee and deliver on Account Management business processes
  • Maintain positive client relationships, expectations, and communications
  • Maintain positive Retailer relationships and interact effectively to gain more knowledge about online media capabilities of the retailer
  • Build on an existing level of paid search expertise, and develop a reputation for innovation and efficiency
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in digital commerce as well as consumer behavior, competitor actions to recommend improvements to accounts
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience using search advertising platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Amazon, MediaAisle, Criteo, Instacart, etc)
  • 1-2 years of account/client management skills and execution of paid search & ecommerce campaigns
  • Experience managing budgets and reporting on KPIs
  • High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Data driven decision making with a technical and analytical mindset
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner and confidently communicate with clients and other stakeholders face-to-face
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple accounts
  • Good to have basic knowledge of Google Analytics & Bid Management tools (SA360, Pacvue) and biddable social APIs
  • Google & Amazon Certification is an asset (preferred but not required)
