Job Description


SUMMARY OF THE ROLE: Mammoet is seeking a dynamic and results driven individual to join our sales team at our Montreal Branch to expand our crane rental market share. The successful candidate will have a proven track record building relationship with clients, increasing sales and providing solutions that benefit both the company and the client.
We are looking to bring energy and drive to our existing team so that we can expand on existing opportunities and expand Mammoet\xe2\x80\x99s business in the Montreal region. WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BE DOING:

  • Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with customers and leverage an understanding of the crane rental market and Mammoet\'s engineered solutions to provide customers\xe2\x80\x99 with innovative solutions. Monitor developments and act as a business partner to determine present and future needs for potential customers and explore new leads.
  • Networking & New Business: Expand a network of (new) external relations, detect and realize new business opportunities in cooperation with other functions, in line with internal guidelines and the crane rental market.
  • Market Intelligence: Assess information on the market, competitors, trends and identify business opportunities to increase Mammoet\'s crane rental market share by sourcing new clients and increasing Mammoet\'s market presence and brand recognition.
  • Planning: Develop and realize a sales plan in line with Mammoet\xe2\x80\x99s crane rental strategy and standards. Identify opportunities that offer greater logistical challenges, develop solutions which involve more company resources including sales, engineering, operations, and specialty equipment. Manage, coordinate and present regularly scheduled project status and risk analysis to management.
  • Reporting: Provide insights regarding crane rental market developments by means of periodical and ad-hoc reports and analyses in line with the business reporting requirements. Ensure management is kept informed on business critical information and act as a resource to branch staff regarding customer service best practices and product knowledge.
WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regional/field sales position
  • Knowledge of and/or previous exposure to the crane rental industry (or transferable experience)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Post-Secondary education
  • Solid administrative and computer skills, e.g. MS Office and CRM databases
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license (driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract required).
