The Role

This role provides leadership and day-to-day management for the high-volume vertical within Canada (O & B stream). This role will oversee and support RPO delivery for all high-volume recruiting efforts working directly with RPO Management and business leaders. They will partner internally and externally to lead all TA high-volume efforts and will serve as the primary delivery point of contact for their respective BU. In some cases, when RPO related projects have a strong delivery component, this position will be expected to serve as a project manager.

Key Responsibilities

Adapt, and execute TA delivery strategy for high-volume to achieve the hiring needs of the assigned BU.
  • Communicates with RPO partners on hiring needs and upcoming initiatives/projects for assigned BU; leverages expertise to identify creative solutions and strategies
  • Contributes to the development of new best practices and TA hiring strategies for high-volume
  • Handles all day-to-day operational reporting and/or report review to manage performance of assigned RPO team and understand their ability to meet business demands.
  • Serves as first point of response for Tier 1 non-technical escalations
  • Serves as the POC for hiring managers within assigned BU (no internal direct reports): partners with TA Operations as appropriate
  • Partners with peer Talent Acquisition Managers and Account Managers to ensure process consistency and drive TA collaboration/knowledge share
  • Fields ad hoc requests
Vendor Engagement/Management:
  • Manages oversight of RPO program health, and relationship with assigned BUs
  • Delivers clear expectations and direction to assigned RPO team, providing consistent feedback and creating a trust-based, transparent partnership
  • Tracks and ensures assigned RPO team productivity to meet agreed upon KPI and SLAs for assigned BUs
  • Triages and/or solves Tier 1 escalations regarding recruitment issues, partnering with TA Leaders to share updates, observation of trends, and looping in when necessary
Business Engagement & Support:
  • Partners with the business for assigned BU to proactively understand needs and share TA data/hiring metrics
  • Stand as the TA SME for hiring managers and HRBPs within assigned BUs as well as RPO partners
  • Main client interactions are Hiring Managers and Directors within the business
Reporting and analytics:
  • Reviews TA processes and adherence on a consistent basis to ensure data integrity within the TA Delivery high-volume portfolio
  • Delivers weekly report out to assigned BU leadership on high-volume hiring activity
  • Leads monthly cross-functional operations meetings with the business to solicit, gather and analyze SLAs / KPIs to drive actionable data-driven outcomes for assigned BUs
  • Leverages and interpret critical metrics to track and assess RPO team\xe2\x80\x99s performance through Daily Stand Ups (DSUs), weekly retrospectives, monthly meetings and QBRs to meet, maintain, improve and exceed SLAs
  • Engages in the development of hiring forecast in partnership with TA leadership, Finance and business leadership
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional experience; progressive experience in the HR and Talent Acquisition space
  • RPO experience (client or vendor side); large enterprise experience a plus
  • High-volume recruitment experience; leading strategies and managing results within Canada.
  • Deep Talent Acquisition knowledge, including sourcing strategies, recruitment marketing and excellence in process execution
  • Demonstrated client-centric process improvement capability
  • Change management experience
  • Expertise in communications through multiple channels, including PowerPoint, email and social media
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
Additional Preferred Knowledge & Skills
  • Intermediate to advance Excel Skills.

  • Demonstrated success analyzing and presenting data in a compelling narrative that drives data-based solutions is required

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$82,800 - $138,000
