We\'re looking for an Account Manager with a interest in new business development to join our team to work closely with the founder and current sales leadership team to help us grow our sales specifically in the food services sector.

This person will be able to work fully remotely and effectively will operate as the primary point of contact for all sales and delivery activities related to our Canadian food services accounts/customers. The focus of this critical role will be to engage prospective buyers in this sector and open new market opportunities to complement our current retail presence across Canada.

We\'re a star up with growing momentum and the ideal candidate for us at this stage is someone with entrepreneurial aspirations who is looking for ways to leverage their experience in account management and new business development in the food CPG space. Given this is a part time role we are very open to the potential this person will be representing other products complimentary to the Sachili line-up.

Your role:

  • Developing an understanding of the food services industry and the potential value add/offering of Sachili products
  • Prospecting and acquiring new food service accounts with a focus on service and long-term growth
  • Activating local market initiatives and promotions to build brand awareness and maximize sales
  • Achieving food service sales volume, revenue, and profitability goals for the assigned territory by applying high standards and consistently meeting critical metrics for sales, execution, and customer service
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage trends and how to position Sachili product offerings and pricing
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers across the restaurant and food services sector to accelerate our sales and growth across this segment.
Our desired experience profile:
  • A Bachelor\'s degree in business or marketing (or equivalent experience based on a strong performance track record)
  • 2+ years of solution-focused food product/CPG B2B sales
  • Strong drive and desire to succeed and bring sustained sales results
  • Established track record in hitting sales targets and keeping customers happy and engaged.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Existing rolodex of established relationships across key food service accounts
  • Ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and individual customer needs/asks
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills with the ability to show initiative given the independent nature of this role (ie minimal supervision)
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite (Familiarity with CRM software an asset)
  • Possess a valid driver\'s license and own vehicle
