You do not need to have experience in the logistics industry as your eagerness to learn and adapt will be key traits you bring to the table to excel in this role. The role is a combination between an Account Executive and Account Manager. You will be responsible for generating new clients and maintaining clients as you build your book of business. We have the tools, and people to set you up for success in this role. That being said, we are always open to hearing innovative ideas, and creative ways to generate new business. You will work closely with our operations and customer service departments day to day. Your results will be generated from a combinations of work ethic/consistency and strong customer service skills. As a brokerage, Contender does not handle the physical goods, we simply negotiate the best possible price on behalf of our clients, take a fee for doing so, and ensure that the shipment runs smoothly from A to B. We have shown fast growth in the logistics space with the intentions of continuing to grow at the same pace.
