As an Account Executive at Breadstack, you will be at the forefront of driving our sales growth by identifying and cultivating potential business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to generate high-quality leads through strategic research, targeted outreach, and effective communication. You will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and ensuring the continuous flow of potential customers into the sales pipeline. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will work in collaboration with the marketing team. This role is crucial to our success and offers a great opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding SaaS company.
Responsibilities
:
Lead Generation and Prospecting / Inbound Management:
Attend trade shows across North America (travel is a must!) with the goal of engaging prospects into sales cycles.
Engage inbound leads.
Utilize online platforms, databases, and tools to gather contact information of key decision-makers.
Enhance sales growth by incorporating a substantial amount of individualized prospecting effort.
Develop and implement personalized communication strategies using email, social media, and other channels.
Craft tailored messaging that emphasizes our products/services value propositions and addresses each prospect's unique needs.
Build and manage a database of potential leads, documenting interactions, responses, and progress.
Sales Cycle Management:
Own the entire sales process: from cold calls, administrative tasks, and lead qualification, to closing deals and exceeding sales quotas.
Engage in proactive follow-ups to nurture relationships and advance leads through the sales funnel.
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align lead generation with overall business objectives.
Follow up consistently to ensure prospects' needs are addressed during the sales cycle.
Overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with product specialists for qualified software demonstrations.
Team Collaboration and Communication:
Work in tandem with the Marketing team to convert leads into customers.
Participate in regular sales meetings with Marketing, Technical Solution, and Customer Success, sharing insights, updates, and contributing to the lead generation strategy refinement.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to stay informed about industry trends, market shifts, and the competitive landscape, adapting tactics as necessary.
Performance Metrics and CRM Management:
Meet and surpass monthly and quarterly lead generation targets, fueling the growth of the sales pipeline.
Maintain accurate communications and client records within the CRM.
Provide timely updates, address inquiries, and handle any client concerns promptly.
Professionalism and Product Expertise:
Represent Breadstack with the utmost advocacy and professionalism throughout every stage of the sales process.
Become adept at presenting and demonstrating the value of our products and services to potential clients.

Understanding of eCommerce best practices, with experience in SEO and Digital Marketing.
Demonstrated understanding of retail cannabis dispensaries, including industry-specific knowledge and practices is a plus.
Qualifications:
Has 3 to 5 years of solid SaaS B2B sales experience preferably in a disruptive sales environment.
Boasts a proven track record in lead generation or sales, emphasizing generating high-quality leads in a B2B context.
Demonstrates experience nurturing B2B accounts and a familiarity with CRM software and lead management systems.
Exhibits strong research skills, able to identify potential leads through multiple channels.
Maintains a results-driven approach with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.
Is self-motivated, proactive, independent, and goal-oriented.
Adapts easily, receptive to feedback, and harbors a continuous improvement mindset.
Our Offer:
On Target Earnings (OTE) range from $150,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
Commission Incentives: Tiered structure with accelerators. No cap.

Remote Work Option: Hybrid or full remote work available (outside Metro Vancouver), with the requirement to work within PST or EST and have reliable high-speed internet access.
Employment Options: Opportunity to join as an employee or contractor, with salary paid out as a retainer for contractors. (Note: Contract positions do not include certain employment perks like extended medical insurance benefits, paid time off, etc.)
