As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive Team Lead to join our team and lead our sales efforts.



Xplor Recreation is looking for an experienced Account Executive Team Lead to manage and guide our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting sales goals, developing strategies, and providing leadership to a team of Account Executives. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the team\'s success in achieving its targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead from the front by personally prospecting leads and meeting a sales quota.
  • Help the team to meet their sales quota.
  • Attend and staff trade shows / in-person events when required
  • Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives, providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve their individual and team sales targets.
  • Build and maintain sufficient pipeline coverage, including both inbound and outbound calling
  • Strategic Execution: Help develop and execute effective sales strategies, business plans, and tactics to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and meet company objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to keep the team updated with the latest market insights.
  • Sales Process Improvement: Continuously refine and optimize the sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, including sales tools, collateral, and CRM utilization.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, such as product development and marketing, to align strategies and ensure a unified approach to customer acquisition and retention.
  • Create necessary processes, policies, and training materials and implement operational structure to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
  • Maintain knowledge of any new products, features, and offers
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on team performance, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B software sales, with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Experience in Recreation industry or Sports Management Software industry.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the recreation and leisure industry or related software solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
This position has an annual base salary range of $140,000 to $185,000 CAD.

This position is eligible for an incentive plan.
