The Role: We are looking for a Sales Professional with a proven track record of delivering year on year sales and gross margin growth. The person filling this role has developed the skills and ability to penetrate existing customers with additional sales opportunities, transform existing customers product mix and profitability and develop and deliver new customers to the company. Based in Ontario and reporting to the VP, Sales, this position will be responsible for existing Key Accounts and new business opportunities the company has targeted for sales growth. The person in this KAE role will also collaborate and build plans with the Canadian Key Account team within our Grocery, Retail, Processor Key Relationships: Reports to: VP, Sales \xe2\x80\x93 GRP Direct Reports: None Other Key Relationships: GRP National & Key Account Team, KAE Customer Support (Sales Coordinator), Category Management Team, BNA Sustainability Team.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Building and delivering plans to penetrate existing customers with new products and services not currently sold by our Company.
  • Collaborating, building, and implementing category plans to help customer execute their strategy while improving our account profitability.
  • Collaborating, building, and implementing plans to convert new customers the company has targeted for sales growth.
  • Meeting with Key Accounts key leadership and department managers (i.e., Merchandising Managers) to understand their category and sustainability plans in order to build alignment and plans with our products and services.
  • Use their interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships and contacts for effective account management and plan execution.
  • Meet with key customer contacts to review business performance, projects and work completed and the value our company has delivered at least twice a year.
  • Work closely with Customer Support Team to ensure that customer structure and support is managed and maintained with quality, accuracy, and timely responses to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Key areas include Part & Price files, special requests, problem solving, sourcing and information.
  • In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with Canadian KAE/NAM for training, development, knowledge, and planning purposes.

  • Education, college diploma or university degree with a preference for Business Administration.
