This role can be done remotely (within North American time zones) or folks are welcome to work out of our lovely Gastown office in Vancouver!

Quietly is an award-winning, full-service content marketing agency, working across the entire lifecycle of content, from discovery and strategy to production and distribution. Quietly partners with category leaders such as Adobe, Dell Technologies, Goldman Sachs, Herschel, MEC, Sotheby\xe2\x80\x99s International Realty, PwC, and Slack to understand how content drives their business, devising strategies and executing along the way. Quietly is data-driven to our core, developing technology in-house, as well as stand alone products like Insights.

Account Directors are the lynchpin to our success and growth: the role is a combination of strategy, project management, client servicing, advisory, and business development all in one. As an Account Director (or Client Partner), you will build influential relationships and provide leadership for our clients, identifying key business outcomes and shaping corresponding programs to deliver against them. You are responsible for all aspects of delivery, collaborating with and providing guidance to our Strategy and Content teams, as well as experts from our Creator Network.

You bring experience from global, top-tier creative and/or digital agencies, and the confidence to work on completely new types of projects; challenging long-standing assumptions, defending recommendations, and delivering high-value client work for category-leading organizations. You inspire teammates to raise the bar on every level \xe2\x80\x93 from brief to execution \xe2\x80\x93 because you fully understand this new experience economy, how and why expectations are transcending categories, and where the future is headed for B2C and B2B brands.

  • Drive conversations with C-level executives, assessing needs and identifying opportunities based on what they need to do to succeed in their category
  • Identify and eloquently explain Quietly solutions that provide real business value to our clients, including shaping a POV, determining key outcomes, defining the strategic approach, and developing execution plans
  • Develop robust project plans and budgets, driving total clarity into approach and scope, and craft corresponding proposals and contracts
  • Lead and deliver resulting engagements in coordination with Strategists, Content team members and our Creator Network
  • Inspire and encourage team members to continuously elevate the work we deliver, providing insightful feedback and direction throughout engagements
  • Strategically grow your accounts, managing and delivering to revenue and project profitability targets
  • Work with internal teams to evolve our offerings, improve planning frameworks and optimize our delivery processes
  • Proactively stay informed of industry trends and be a content marketing thought leader
  • Maintain strong post-engagement client relationships to introduce new opportunities accordingly
  • Provide support to Business Development
What you\'ll bring


  • Comfort in and experience managing high-profile enterprise accounts
  • Experience and comfort working in technical, B2B and niche industries
  • A track record of managing customer relationships and expectations through effective interpersonal communication and partnering
  • Strong project management experience including scoping and budgeting, task management, resource allocation
  • Experience forecasting projected revenue and tracking project profitability
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written skills, with a proven ability to develop well-written documents and engaging presentations
  • A track record in and strong understanding of content strategy and creation, as well as knowledge of paid marketing and distribution, with proven experience in delivering effective business strategy
  • A strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative data, and an analytical mindset
  • Knowledge in media planning/buying, operations consulting, public relations, advertising, social media and search engine optimization
  • Experience with various forms of technology and software (e.g. analytics, marketing automation, email marketing, customer relationship management, ecomm, etc.)

Our headquarters are located in an incredible converted two-storey live-work space with a gorgeous rooftop patio in the heart of historic Gastown. The building and first floor of our unit are accessible spaces. We\xe2\x80\x99re also open to folks working remotely within North American time zones.
