OVERVIEW BAM is looking for a leadership-minded Account Director to help us grow our already strong business relationships with a diverse roster of clients hungry for great work \xe2\x80\x94 including PepsiCo, Sanofi, Durex, 3M, Enfamil, and Lysol to name a few. The Account Director is responsible for the success and high level direction of assigned account(s), fostering genuine human-to-human partnerships with our clients while mentoring and coaching your account team to deliver best-in-class campaigns and projects. WHAT YOU WILL DO Account Management
Foster trust and confidence as the lead client contact, responsible for overall account health, project delivery and client satisfaction
Drive the achievement of key marketing and sales objectives while championing the brand\xe2\x80\x99s big picture mission and immediate needs
Proactively develop business by participating in client pitches, pursuing growth opportunities and presenting new ideas before they\xe2\x80\x99re briefed
Lead strategic planning and brainstorms with support from other departments
Work with finance team and Senior Client Partners to optimize financial performance; manage financial setup of accounts and projects within internal financial systems
Keep clients informed on billing status and budget utilization
Responsible for the financial set up of the account and all projects in internal financial systems
Project Planning and Scoping:
Deliver accurate and detailed proposals, SOWs and annual budgets
Oversee the planning of large scale projects, scheduled tasks, deadlines and milestones
Lead your account\xe2\x80\x99s quarterly and annual planning efforts
Project Direction, Consultation and Guidance:
Implement and improve agency-wide processes to ensure strongest output possible
Review deliverables prepared by others team members to ensure they are properly evaluated and tested, and that they meet requirements, standards and highest level of quality
Work closely with Media + Analytics teams to ensure delivery of accurate and timely reports
Team Management:
Serve as a mentoring leader to other team members (Account Supervisors, Digital Producers, Interns), coaching and empowering them to take ownership of tasks
Conduct performance evaluations of all direct reports, providing actionable feedback
Ensure completion of timesheets, approve team vacations, absence requests and expense reports
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in digital production and account management
Minimum of 3-4 years of team management experience
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, though relevant work experience will be considered
A proven track record of growing business while maintaining positive relationships
Autonomous leadership skills; a willing collaborator who requires minimal supervision
A people-first mindset and innate understanding of how to motivate teammates
Ability to see the big picture + strategic thinker, able to take on consultative approach with out clients + identify proactive opportunities on behalf of our clients
Stays on top of trends in digital marketing + project management by following industry news; willing to invest time and energy in career training, attend conferences, etc.
Highly effective presentation skills; strong written and oral communication in English (French a strong optional asset)
Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, and/or related CRM platforms and strategies
Ability to interpret and extrapolate data from Google Analytics/Data Studio reports
Willingness to travel and accommodate occasionally unpredictable timelines
