Job summary

Our company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Development Representative to join our team. As an Account Development Representative, you will work closely with our Account Management Teams, field sales force and clients to provide exceptional customer service and support. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and administrative tasks, including order management, responding to inquiries from the account team and clients, as well as maintaining client records. Other duties may be assigned or required to support our dynamic account management programs.

What you\'ll do

  • Work with the EXFO CRM tool to manage all leads and contacts.
  • Manage EDI (Electronic Data Input) systems to accept tenders and to track, trace and report progress of purchase orders and shipments.
  • Release EDI orders, investigate back-orders and expedite orders when needed to resolve issues.
  • Manage all aspects of tactical implementations, including creative and technical development, measurement, reporting and ROI analysis.
  • Design, develop and perform cold callings.
  • Track and maintain relevant information in the EXFO CRM tool (the customer relationship management system).
  • Aid in new account business development.
  • Close business in a timely manner by identifying the proper decision makers; CEO, CIO, VP.
  • Contact VIP customers to build positive relationships and to drive EXFO relevancy with assigned clients.
  • Manage and ensure accuracy of customers\' catalog and pricing/product lists.
  • Collaborate with all members of the sales team to maximize business opportunities.
  • Communicate to team members of any and new strategic information.
  • Oversee order management, shipping follow-ups, and lead time management.
  • Proactively conduct regular audits of the CRM\'s data integrity
  • Lead RFP/RFI requests
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with sales team on delivering accurate quotes in timely manner.
  • Demonstrate initiative in handling customer complaints, warranty issues and problematic situations.
  • Oversee accuracy of organizational charts.
  • Lead the onboarding follow ups.
  • Identify and assign new leads, track activity, and maintain all information in CRM.
What we\'re looking for:
  • Experience with account management and sales with proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets
  • Good knowledge of CRM and other sales systems such as Salesforce, SAP C4C.
  • Ability to perform customers research and use analytical tools to propose solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must have

Pertinent experience: Minimum of 3 years\' experience in sales associated with a minimum of 1 year experience in customer service.

Language requiremets: Excellent written and Verbal English skills. Knowledge of French or Spanish will be considered as an asset.

Education: bachelor\'s degree in marketing, Business, or any other related field

Any other combination of experience/studies will be considered.
