The Wood Automotive Group has a great opportunity for an Accessories Specialist to add to the Parts team at Advantage Ford!
About the role:
This position is based on the sales floor and is a pivotal role in supporting parts and accessory sales for guests purchasing new and used vehicles. The Accessories Specialist is responsible for driving performance, penetration and growth in sales of parts, accessories, and related components within the new and used car sales department. This includes promoting feature vehicles, winter tire/wheel packages, and a wide range of vehicle accessories that are useful, relevant, and add value to our customers' ownership experience.
Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
meet with new/used vehicle buyers to perform accurate needs assessments and then consult them on accessory opportunities as part of our full purchase experience.
work closely with the parts/service managers as well as our internal coordinator, sales management and finance team to ensure each vehicle delivery gets completed on time and on budget.
gain the support of each vehicle sales representative to facilitate effective guest turnovers, product penetration and sales performance to meet targets set per vehicle and per month
maintain relationships with suppliers, technicians, colleagues, manufacturer reps, and whomever might also help us achieve an unrivalled guest experience each day
work with parts manager to accurately and effectively manage accessory and tire inventory, special orders, billing, purchase orders, sales reporting and program administration
assist with post-sale support including processing warranty claims or dealing with issues that may arise and ensuring each guest is fully and completely satisfied with their experience
Requirements:
A valid AB driver's license
A current and clean driver's abstract
2-3 years' experience in automotive parts
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Dedication to customer service, being a team player and strong organization skills are also required. Related parts/service experience with automotive products and after-market experience is considered a strong asset.
