Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic growth and development. This position involves working closely with students to enhance their learning experiences, develop effective study habits, and foster a positive attitude towards education. The Academic Coach will also have the opportunity to incorporate unique skills, such as swimming, into their coaching methods, providing a well-rounded approach to student engagement.

Duties

Collaborate with students to identify academic strengths and areas for improvement. Develop personalized learning plans tailored to individual student needs. Provide one-on-one coaching sessions focused on study techniques, time management, and goal setting. Facilitate group workshops that encourage collaborative learning and peer support. Monitor student progress and adjust coaching strategies as necessary. Integrate swimming techniques into coaching sessions when applicable, promoting physical activity as part of overall well-being. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support at home.

Experience

Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is highly desirable. Familiarity with various learning styles and educational methodologies. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students. Experience in swimming or knowledge of swimming techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
