Graphic Designer/Engineer We are looking for Part-time or Full-time Graphic Designers to develop marketing content, and the position is available as early as May 2023. With AAVAA, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team building a unique listening device that allows everyone to hear what matters by processing their surrounding sounds based on input from their brain and biosignals. Our goal is to give people control of their auditory environment, enhance the sounds they want to hear, and suppress distracting noise. Required to have experience with:

• Illustration software (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Updating graphics, websites, and other marketing material
• Designing apps and websites
• Taking a user-centered design approach and rapidly iterating your designs
• Creating user flows to ensure effective and smooth user experience
• Participation in brainstorming sessions, conceptual development and design reviews

Nice to have experience with:

• Computer Aided Design software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills to convey processes, ideas, and solutions to your team and clients
• A solid grasp of user-centered design, usability, accessibility, and testing methodologies

Above and Beyond:

• Grant writing, technical writing, etc.
• Design of wearable electronics
• Selection of materials
