Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials and products efficiently while ensuring safety and accuracy. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service, as you will be interacting with team members and potentially clients.

Duties

Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. Ensure the safe handling of heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking the movement of goods. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely deliveries. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance. Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of products. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job. Previous experience in customer service is a plus, enhancing interactions with clients. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. A valid forklift certification is much needed (training may also be provided); commercial driving experience is needed.
