Job Description

Brandon University is seeking Contract Academic Staff instructors in the School of Music to teach the following music history/musicology courses from September 3 to December 22, 2025 (Fall term). This course may be delivered in an online synchronous format, but preference will be given to a qualified candidate who will teach in person.


64:236 MUSIC AND GENDER - 3 credit hours - Fall Term - Mon/Wed/Fri 11:40-12:30 (Slot 4)



This course will consider the role of gender in music culture with case studies from art music, world music, and popular music repertoires.


Qualifications

: Master's degree in music is required, Doctorate and/or relevant teaching experience preferred. Equivalent traditional/experiential career paths will also be considered. Salary

: $7,857 per 3 credit hour course
