Are you in a Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering program? Would you like to help provide technical support, design and engineering services to several areas in CRL to contribute with multiple projects undergoing decommissioning? What you will be doing:

• Supporting the development of engineering databases and user interfaces
• Testing the software application and identifying performance issues
• Developing technical documentation and training procedures
• Supporting user training
• Supporting the migration of data into the new software application
• Supporting software integration with existing applications
• Supporting configuration management and change control
• Supporting Engineering Self Assessments
• Preparing design documentation, including calculations, reports, memos, under the supervision of a Senior Engineer
• Contributing to the preparation of engineering specifications in support of decommissioning work
• Performing engineering reviews and calculations under the supervision of a Senior Engineer

What we are looking for:

• Interpersonal or technical skills, knowledge or abilities required
• Experience with databases, SQL, GUI, import/export
• Experience in programming
• Mastery in MS Office Suite in particular Excel
• Excellent verbal and writing communications skills
• Team working skills

Security clearance eligibility required: Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom.
