Predator Ridge is looking for a passionate and reliable

1st Cook

to join our culinary team for the season. In this role, you'll take a lead position on the line--preparing high-quality dishes, managing service flow, and helping mentor junior team members in a fast-paced, supportive kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain a guest focus while performing duties. Assume responsibility for the quality of products served. Ensure the team is ready for the shift. Ensure all items required for service are accurately prepped. Ensure proper rotation of food and minimal waste. Comply with industry food safety standards. Maintain a level of food preparation consistent with business levels and leadership direction. Ensure sanitary cooking conditions and safe food handling are adhered to. Supervise in the absence of CDP. Assist with training and guiding new kitchen staff. Comply with all operating procedures and policies of Predator Ridge Resort. Perform other related duties assigned by the management team.

Requirements

2-3 years' experience. Initiative to see what needs to be done and do it with minimal supervision. WHMIS. Flexibility in work schedule required. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing and lifting heavy objects on a regular basis while working in a high-pressure environment.

Pay: $19.50-$21.50 per hour
