Web-Based Curriculum Developer

(January 5 - April 30, 2026)

Remote position



FNUniv offers Community-Based Programs (CBP) in First Nations communities throughout Canada. These programs allow students to remain in their own communities while taking university courses. Programming is based on community needs and can be delivered on-site or remotely. CBP is seeking a web-based curriculum developer to assist with updating their procedures and programs to increase assess and awareness to communities.



The First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) allows students of all nations to learn in an environment of First Nations cultures and values. Duties:

We seek applicants to work with Community Based programs, who can:

Review current programs and offerings Review procedural documents Update visuals, links, and videos Meet with stakeholders to update program presence

Qualifications:

The candidate must demonstrate experience in these qualities or have the equivalent of these competencies:

Master's Degree in Curriculum Development (Post-Secondary Development); or an equivalent of work experience in a Post-Secondary related environment, with at least a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in curriculum development Understanding of online systems and how to organize and move content into that system Ability to manage their own workload, meet deadlines, report to a supervisor about updates on progress for review Effective research and design skills with attention to accuracy and detail Education experience, especially in an Indigenous context, considered an asset Knowledge of regulatory process is an asset Intercultural competence including intercultural sensitivity and adaptability, and the ability to conduct oneself professionally is essential

Salary Range:

This position falls under the SASM Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary Stipend - $7780
